According to recent projections, jobs arising from pro-development policies and the need to replace workers retiring from the industry could generate nearly 1.9 million job opportunities between 2015 and 2035. *

How many new jobs in the natural gas, oil and petrochemical industries will be available over the next 10 years? *

There will be approximately 1.3 million job opportunities by 2025, including 444,288 minority jobs and 207,509 jobs for women in the natural gas, oil and petrochemical industries.

Among the 1.9 million job opportunities projected for the natural gas, oil and petrochemical industries in the next 20 years, Hispanic workers are projected to account for 576,446 positions, with an additional 130,512 jobs expected to be filled by African American workers. Over 290,000 of the forecast job opportunities will be filled by women. *
